Practitioner. Educator. Student of markets.
I graduated with a B.Tech in Information Technology and currently work alongside my father in our family business serving the pharmaceutical industry. Alongside that, I have been actively sharing market insights, stock observations, and trading analysis on X โ completely free โ as part of a genuine effort to contribute to the financial literacy conversation in India.
My introduction to momentum trading came about four years ago. It took time to understand it properly, and it has been approximately 2.5 years since I began applying it systematically to my own trading. That journey โ of unlearning conventional wisdom and building a process grounded in price, volume, and structure โ is what shaped SMTS.
The reason I felt compelled to build this course is straightforward: most retail investors in India operate on frameworks like "buy and hold" or "buy low, sell high" without fully accounting for the hidden risks embedded in those approaches โ particularly the opportunity cost of being stuck in the wrong stock through prolonged sideways or declining phases.
Momentum trading, when applied with discipline and proper risk management, offers a structured alternative. It gives you a framework to be in the right stocks, in the right phase of their cycle, with a defined exit โ and to step aside when markets become hostile.
The six weekends of SMTS are designed to give you timeless principles. Not tips, not signals, not hot stocks โ but a way of reading markets that you can carry and apply for the rest of your life. Financial market literacy is a skill, and like any skill, it compounds with time and practice.
All fundamentals, all news, all analyst opinions โ they are already in the price. The chart doesn't lie. Learn to read it before you add anything else.
You can have a mediocre entry system and still be profitable with exceptional risk management. The reverse is never true.
The most underrated skill in trading is knowing when not to trade. Protecting capital during hostile conditions is what allows you to compound during favourable ones.
Judge trades by the quality of the decision, not the result. A well-executed loss is better than a lucky win. The market rewards process over time.
I share market observations, chart breakdowns, and trading process thoughts regularly on X. If you want to see how I think about markets in real time โ follow along.
